WHY CHOOSE ENGLISH FOR NURSING?
Whether you are a nurse involved in cross-border healthcare, or keen to start working in healthcare in another country, English is a major asset for nurses who are able to understand, write and speak the language somewhat fluently.
You have a global occupation, an international profession. Not only may you need to care for foreign residents and immigrants in your own country, but you may wish to seek work opportunities in foreign countries. Also, you may be faced with medical tourism as it has also become a reality, given the ever-growing medical advancements in recent years.
Strong communication skills are key to embody a good nurse, especially in a different language such as English. Sound communication helps nurses build rapport with both patients, carers, and family.
